There is a free bus service for all enrolled students. The service starts on 4 March, runs Monday to Friday during Trimesters 1 & 2, and connects the Petone, Wellington City and Porirua campuses. If you’re an eligible full-time student you will receive a 25% discount off the peak adult Snapper or single 10-Trip Ticket fare on Metlink bus, rail and ferry services at all times. To get the 25% discount on buses you must apply for the concession and have it loaded on your Snapper Card.

Study and breakout spaces are located across all our campuses, most of which include access to computers and power sockets. There are additional quiet study spaces situated in, or near, the library areas. You can also book quiet rooms for study and meetings via the Student Helpdesks at any campus.
There are places to come to get advice, support, advocacy, ask us anything, relax, get a free hot drink, eat, use a computer, or just come in and talk to someone. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, plus vending machines and microwave facilities to heat up your own food. For further information on available student spaces, ask at the Student Helpdesks.
We provide free breakfast Mon-Fri across our campuses, subject to availability, as well as tea and coffee. There are microwave facilities to heat up your own food at various locations across all our campuses.
We have dedicated spaces for Māori and Pasifika students wanting friendly and welcoming places to study, socialise, or to get advice and support.
