New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5)

Get the skills to work on a help desk, in computer servicing and technical support. Learn how to deliver great customer service. Understand PC essentials by taking a computer completely apart and putting it back together. Work on hard drive recovery, basic software development, database, network and server management.

New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) is a 120-credit programme, divided into eight 15 credit compulsory courses. The courses are designed to follow on from a Level 4 Certificate extending IT skills and developing skills required in the IT industry.

  • NCEA Level 2 or 3, including Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy
  • Or Certificate in Computing (Level 4) 
  • Or New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology Essentials (Level 4)
  • Or equivalent knowledge, skills and experiences
Over 20+
