No material published by Whitireia or WelTec on their website www.whitireiaweltec.ac.nz may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without specific prior written permission.

All programmes offered by Whitireia or WelTec and other subsidiaries of Te Pūkenga are under review, to ensure they are portable, consistent and aligned with the needs of industry. The programme you have enrolled in may change over time.

Acceptance of your application to enrol at ‘Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec’ is subject to you meeting the admission and programme requirements (if any) and the availability of places on your selected course(s).

Whitireia and WelTec reserve the right to cancel, postpone or change the location of courses and/or programmes and shall not be liable for any claim other than the portion of the fees relating to the cancelled course or programme.

Applicants who meet entry requirements are selected on a first come first served basis. If applications to any of these courses/programmes exceed places available, applicants will be notified about the next available course/programme.

The purpose of the application form is to obtain the information we need to enrol you into a qualification and to collect information required by the Ministry of Education and other Government agencies for statistical and administrative reasons. Refer to the Privacy Breach Procedures for more information.

Whitireia and WelTec share student information to plan delivery and provide student services including for enrolment administration, library and information services, learning support, disability support, careers advice, scholarships, graduation and academic records, and student conduct and complaints.

You may request to see information collected about you and you have the right to amend any errors. When any of your personal information is no longer required it will be securely disposed of in accordance with the Institutions’ Record Retention and Disposal Schedule.

Please note: Your emergency contact information may need to be used for purposes such as; if you are seriously ill and/or become injured while on our campuses, if you are at risk of harm, or if you are at risk of harming another individual.  

• I hereby apply for enrolment as a student at Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec and, if accepted, I agree to comply with the Academic Statute, Student Code of Conduct, and related policies on the website www.whitireiaweltec.ac.nz 
• I acknowledge my responsibility to be aware of the Programme Regulations and examination entry dates, including any external examinations related to my study.  
• I declare that all information I have supplied in the application form and any attached documentation to be true and complete and I acknowledge that my enrolment could be cancelled if false information has been supplied, or if required information is not supplied by the due start date of the programme.
• I have read and understood the provisions of the Privacy Act 2020, as outlined in this Enrolment Form and I authorise the institute to collect, use and disclose the information in this form to StudyLink. 
• I acknowledge that if I opt into SMART, my personal information will be held by my local library and by other libraries in the Wellington region.
• I understand that Te Pūkenga capture photographs and videos of events, activities and classroom situations where I may be present and I agree that my image can be used for marketing where the image is of a group setting. I understand I have the right to refuse permission if the image focuses on me as an individual and I undertake to advise the photographer, videographer or staff member if I do not want my likeness to be captured or used.
• If accepted, I undertake to pay all fees and any course-related costs as they become due and to meet any late fees and collections charges associated with debt recovery.

All domestic fees displayed are indicative for 1 year of study (equivalent to 120 credits); OR as specified for the duration of the programme of study.

International fees displayed are for 1 year of study (equivalent to 120 credits); OR as specified for the duration of the programme of study, and do not include the Institutes default Travel and Medical Insurance (approximately NZ $765 per year of study, provided by Uni‐Care NZ),  $224 annual admin fee , and $375 annual student services fee.

1. Price: The price of the eBook is 19.99NZD, inclusive of GST.
2. Payment: Payment may only be made online through our website with a credit or debit card. Bank transfers or cash will not be accepted.
3. Format: Once payment has been received, the link to the eBook will be sent via email, in ePub format. The link will expire two weeks from purchase.
4. Refunds: If you require a refund, please contact: publishing@whitireia.ac.nz

If you’re new to tertiary studies, or you’ve previously done less than six months at tertiary level, you may qualify for one year's study or two years’ work-based training – up to $12,000. This includes tuition fees, associated mandatory fees, and compulsory student services fees.

To participate, you must:

• meet the residency criteria, and
• meet the prior study and training criteria, and
• be enrolled in a course that’s eligible for Fees Free.

Following the new Government’s announcement of its intention to disestablish Te Pūkenga | New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, please be assured that your programme of study or training will continue as planned while we work through the details of how this change will be implemented.
